The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of roughly 70 images obtained from the property of late found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a cache of more than 95,000 photographs the panel has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It includes photographs of excerpts from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured photos of women's overseas passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19th of December deadline for the Justice Department to release all records connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest photographs pose more queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its possession," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Images Released

A number of the photographs made public on this week feature Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates standing next to a female whose features is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a table opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest high-net-worth, powerful individuals to be seen in Epstein property photographs published by the oversight panel - previously published pictures also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Appearing in the photos is does not constitute evidence of any misconduct, and several of the pictured men have said they were never involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release released with the photo release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein property holders did not offer explanatory details or dates for the images.

"Photos were picked to furnish the public with transparency into a representative sample of the photos acquired from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's network and his extremely alarming behavior," the announcement states.

The publication also contains a number of photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her chest, feet, hipbone, and spine. Lolita narrates the tale of a adolescent who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the novel scrawled across a woman's chest says, "Lolita: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photos of women's travel documents and identification documents from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the documents, such as identities and dates of birth, is censored but the committee indicated in a statement that the travel documents pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

Another photograph depicts Epstein sitting at a workstation in close proximity in the company of three women whose identities have been redacted - one individual has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and a second is bending to look at a close-by laptop. Epstein appears to be helping the final person attach a bracelet.

An additional image released is a capture of digital messages from an unknown sender who claims they have been provided "several females" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars per female".

Photo Disclosure Occurs Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The body has a vast number of photos in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "at once disturbing and mundane," its announcement on recently clarified.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property provided to the committee are different than what is often called "the Epstein files". Those are papers within the justice department's possession related to its independent inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump signed into law in November, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of what is included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's likely that a large amount of the content will be heavily obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
